Well I had a lovely Saturday. I went into the city, did a little shopping, submitted a manuscript and met up with the wonderful RF Long for a mug of hot chocolate.
Now that I’m home, I’m finishing up on line edits and cover request forms while partying at FAR Chatters. Oooh, and I just had a seriously good pizza for dinner (margharita with extra garlic = heaven).
Hope you’re all enjoying the weekend as much as me!

In Control has hit the front page of the Phaze website. Yay!
Here’s the blurb:
Annabelle Lawson has it all–fame, fortune and a successful acting career to boot. But three years on from her break-up with the love of her life, she is still missing him. So in the middle of the night, she jumps on a plane and flies to the fair city of Dublin, determined to win him back.
Hotelier Liam O’Brien can’t believe the woman who ripped his heart to shreds three years ago is staying in his hotel. What’s worse is that old fires still rage between them, dredging up past hurt that Liam would rather forget. Deciding to take control, Liam gives Annabelle what she wants–sex. But there will be no strings and no emotions.
However, as Annabelle’s body invades his senses, he finds himself falling backward in time. He knows he needs to hold onto control but a very persistent Annabelle won’t let that happen. A power struggle soon erupts and one question arises: Can either of them win in this game of control? Or will they allow the past to consume the present, leaving them alone on the streets of Dublin City?
Here’s a few reasons why I love this story so darn much:
1. It’s set in Dublin city.
2. The hero is yummylicious in a tall, dark and handsome Alpha kind of way.
3. The heroine is a no-nonsense, spunky lady who knows exactly what she wants.
4. There’s a fierce battle of wills that creates some pretty electric sexual tension.
5. Oh, and there’s sex. A whole lot of it. And it’s in public too!

I have release dates!
In Control comes out from Phaze on the 8th (next Monday!) What I love about this story is that it’s set in Dublin, my city and I think you really get a feel for the place. Ooh, and there’s plenty of frisky, angry sex too!
And on the very same day as In Control’s release, Naughty Spanking 2 is coming out! It’s available for pre-order on Amazon now. Click here to check it out.
And then at the end of the month, the 30th to be exact, Beauty and the Beasts is releasing from Loose Id. As soon as I have the cover and the final copy, I’ll put up an excerpt here. I can’t wait for you to meet these characters. I had so much fun with them and I’m currently starting on a follow-up. Watch this space.

On the night of the blue moon, werewolves Kayla and Noah will find their lives changed forever.
Kayla is captured on the way to her wedding, the final piece of a ritual meant to create twisted werewolves loyal to a rogue vampiric coterie. A year later, she wants revenge, and she won’t let anyone get in her way. Not even her mate.
Noah’s search for Kayla has nearly destroyed the truce that keeps war from erupting between the vampires and werewolves. Can he confront the taint of shadow in his lover, and save both their love and the supernatural community?

Well, I’m back from Italy and let me just tell you, that country is stunning! I’m so jealous of the Italians who get to live there and enjoy that scenery and the Mediterranean climate. And the people were so nice! They just went out of their way to help us out whenever we needed directions, etc. I’ll certainly be visiting again!
Now that I’m back, I’m getting started on my ‘get healthy’ plan. I still have to decide exactly how to do it-calorie counting? Weight Watchers? I’m not sure what to do. I’ll have to draw up a list of the pros and cons and make my decision that way. At least edits on ‘Beauty and the Beasts’ are done. Yay! I can’t wait for the release in September (which is two days away. How scary is that?) As soon as I have the final copy, I’ll put up an excerpt.
I’ve got a couple of projects vying for my attention right now. A couple of short stories, a novella, a young adult novel. So much to do, so little time. But I suppose I’ll get there.
And I guess the only way to get there is to actually write. So I’m going back to the documents. Enjoy your weekend!

Tonight I am going to clean. I am going to dust the shelves, hoover the carpet, scrub the bathroom and bleach the kitchen floor. I’m also going to tidy my bedroom/office until it halfway resembles a room that’s habitable
You see, I’m on a mission. I’m determined to get this house in order before I head off on vacation. That way, when I come back, I’ll return to a spotlessly clean, tidy living space instead of the minefield it is now.
And speaking of getting back from vacation, as soon as I get home I’m on a health kick! I’m going to exercise every day and get my five fruit and veg. I’m also going to up my meat/fish/pulses intake because I’m low on iron at the moment.
You know what’s going to keep me motivated? Incredible Shrinking Authors! This is the brainchild of the wonderful Celia Kyle: it’s a group of authors who are determined to get healthy and I’m one of them.
I won’t be activating my shrinking author self until I get back from Italy because there is no way I could keep up the health kick while surrounded by all that pizza and ice-cream. I’d be kidding myself. But as soon as 27th August rolls around I’m jumping on the boat. And I’m not looking back.
Keep you’re fingers crossed for me.

Hello all!
I know I’ve been a slacker when it comes to blogging lately. (I’m too chicken to check the date of my last post!) I have no excuse except that work has been kicking my arse.
But I do have some news. Beauty and the Beasts should be releasing from Loose Id in September, along with In Control from Phaze.
I also have a short story being published as part of an erotica anthology with Xcite books. Naughty Spankings 2 will be published only in print and should be available in bookstores, on Amazon, etc.
And I’m going to Italy next week! Woot! It seems like I’ve been waiting forever for this holiday and I intend to make the best of each day that I’m there.
I also intend on learning a little Italian while I’m in the country.
Ciao anyone?
